WHo We Are
Alexandra Wilde Langley (aka, Lexi) has been making dolls for over thirty years. She is the founder of the Hudson Valley Doll Artists' Guild, a member of the DollsasArt Guild (formerly Central New York Doll Artists' Guild), a member of the Warwick Doll Guild, a patron member of both NIADA and ODACA, a long-time subscriber to the Dollmakers' list, among other memberships. She had a booth at the New York Renaissance Faire (Under The Ooak Tree Dolls) for several years. In her tenure as a dollmaker, she has had the pleasure of offering demonstrations and curating many doll exhibits. Lexi holds a Master’s Degree in English literature and draws much of her inspiration from fairy lore and folktales and, for the past several years, has been studying and giving presentations on Dolls in Literature, Popular Culture and Folklore.
